The role
Your responsibilities
- Define and evolve technical requirements (performance, security, costs, standards).
- Design and develop electrical architectures (power distribution, networks, protection).
- Develop electrical diagrams, block diagrams and design files.
- Contribute to the integration of systems (ECUs, sensors, actuators, energy storage, etc.
- ).
- Plan and execute validation activities (functional, environmental, EMC testing).
- Verify and approve the concepts developed (internal and suppliers).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, software, manufacturing).
- Support suppliers in a co-development and qualification approach.
- Support production and after-sales service in the resolution of technical issues.
- Participate in design reviews and technical monitoring of projects.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and engineering practices.
Your background and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Member of the OIQ (or in the process of being one).
- Experience in product development and electrical system integration.
- Knowledge of embedded networks (CAN, Ethernet) and applicable standards (EMC, security).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (an asset).
- Knowledge of power distribution, on-board electronics and energy systems.
- Experience with electrical harnesses and wiring (an asset).
- Knowledge of electrical design tools (e.

- E-PLAN or equivalent – an asset).
- Knowledge of mechanical drafting software (an asset).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and evolve in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Autonomy, rigor and good engineering judgment.
- Bilingualism French / English (depending on client context).
